The Vantage Vue wireless Integrated Sensor Suite (ISS) collects outside weather data and sends that data wirelessly to the Vantage Vue console via a low-power radio signal. The ISS is solar powered and includes a battery backup. Data is then transmitted from the Davis receiver via a USB cable to the Weathercat software which gathers weather data and stores it on its database.
